Nilmar F. dos Santos

Sports scientist, master prevention trainer for exercise, sports therapy, Myoreflex Therapy®, Pilates rehabilitation, GYROTONIC® system

Nilmar F. dos Santos holds a degree in Sports Science with a focus on sports therapy and sports medicine, as well as a master’s degree in prevention and health promotion. His work combines sports science expertise with practical, individually tailored therapy and training concepts.

After several years performing as a stage dancer at the State Theater in Wiesbaden and the Opera House in Düsseldorf, he developed a deep understanding of movement quality, coordination, body awareness, and load management. This experience continues to shape his body-oriented, functional approach in rehabilitation and prevention today.

Currently, Nilmar works with a combined approach that includes Myoreflex Therapy® according to Dr. Kurt Mosetter, Pilates Rehabilitation, and the GYROTONIC® Method. He uses these methods as targeted tools within clearly structured prevention, therapy, and training programs to reduce pain, improve mobility, build functional strength, and optimize neuromuscular control.

The focus of his work lies in rehabilitation, prevention, functional training, and return-to-sport. His goal is to guide individuals safely and systematically from the acute phase of symptoms through rehabilitation and back into daily life, training, and competition. Long-term resilience, injury prevention, and sustainable performance are at the center of his approach.

In the field of athletic training and sport-specific motor development, Nilmar works with all age groups – from early motor development in children to youth and junior training, all the way to performance-oriented talent development and structured return-to-sport programs.

He also integrates DEEP OSCILLATION® into his therapy – a non-invasive, non-traumatic treatment method with strong pain-relieving and regeneration-enhancing potential. This method supports recovery after training, overuse, injuries, and surgery, and is used specifically for muscle soreness, strains, inflammation, swelling, and wound-healing processes.

At Praxis Lämmerhirt and the GYROTONIC® Center Frankfurt, he works with adults, adolescents, and youth athletes – particularly in soccer – using individually tailored therapy and training concepts.
